Seated Wedding

The Main Dining Room accommodates guests seated across shared tables of 8-12 guests, for a capacity up to 110 guests with ceremony, or 200 without ceremony. Guests are surrounded by floor to ceiling windows and seated at low tables, with full wait staff service for both food and beverage

Taxi Kitchen can accommodate up to 400 guests cocktail style, for a full venue celebration utilising every part our magnificent space. Flowing from the main dining room past our open kitchen, to the River Room and into our indoor/outdoor private dining room

Meet Brittani

Our in-house Wedding Planner and Event Manager Brittani will guide you through your wedding, celebration or corporate function to determine what will work best for your event, and make it happen.

Having started as a waitress in Taxi Kitchen 10yrs ago, Britt then underwent study in Weddings and Events, moving her into a management role which gives her an upper hand knowledge of the venue, its capabilities and potential.

Having worked both front of house and back of house, Brittani is the perfect person to plan your event, with experience from both sides that help execute functions and events flawlessly.

We chose Taxi because we love the food, the central location, and the city views at night. It was absolutely amazing for a winter wedding with the whole city lit up in the background. The venue looked fantastic, the food was delicious (guests got to choose their meals from the menu), the wine and drinks were superb. We also loved the central location making it so easy for us and for our guests to get there.

My wife and I got married at Taxi in October 2024. The venue was stunning with views of the city and the Yarra at sunset, a great atmosphere next to Fed Square, and beautiful lighting and decor. We had guests come from across Melbourne and all appreciated the convenient location next to Flinders St station. The venue was perfect for around 110 guests with plenty of room and an intimate feel at the same time.
